Only 16 kms from the north of Melbourne's CBD, Bundoora is an energetic and evolving suburb offering parklands, two major universities, connectivity and ample shopping locations. Linked to the City of Darebin, and with convenient access to Metropolitan Ring Road, Bundoora is also a mere 20 minutes from Melbourne Airport.

Bundoora is located in the approximate centre of a highly productive economic region that is experiencing relatively high levels of regional residential property demand and strong growth driven by greenfield development in Whittlesea and significant investment within the La Trobe National Employment & Innovation Cluster to the south of the site.

A number of shopping hubs provide residents with all the basics and there are tons of restaurants catering to every taste. Despite the fact that thousands of students live here or nearby, nightlife options are extremely limited and this is definitely not a party town.

Residents are passionate about sports, particularly bowling, baseball and golf. The suburb is home to the Greensborough Lanes, the Bundoora Brumbies Baseball Club, and several public golf courses.

The suburb is absolutely covered with green spaces and parks. The most popular is Bundoora Park, a 180 hectare (445 acre) public park that contains Mount Cooper, which is supposedly Melbourne's highest point and is a minor tourist attraction. The park is also the site of an annual Holi festival.

Bundoora residents have their choice of bus and train options to explore any number of surrounding suburbs or commute into the CBD.
